Centre for Peace and Conflict Mitigation , CEPCOM -Uganda joins other actors to commemorate the World Environment Day under the global theme:Beat Plastic Pollution
The 2023 World Environment Day is a reminder that people’s actions on plastic pollution matters.
The Executive Director CEPCOM Stephen Kuteesa says this year’s commemoration comes at a time when the Centre is rolling out an engagement plan with Institutions of Learning on adopting sustainable plastic Waste Management approaches for a Plastic free environment.
In the same spirit, the Centre has therefore donated an outdoor flower Vessel made out of reused plastic Waste bottles to Seguku Primary School, in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality.
