Re-purposing and reusing of plastic bottle waste does not only create flair gardening but also cleans the environment as it plays a part in recycling.
Centre for Peace and Conflict Mitigation , CEPCOM -Uganda is implementing a multipurpose approach to plastic bottle recycling through home gardening.
The Center makes mobile home gardens with plastics as raw materials not only to clean the environment but also to create motivation for vegetable gardening and complementary nutrition in homes.
CEPCOM also engages community women to make the gardens and grow vegetables where the surplus is put to market for income generation.
