CEPCOM -Uganda has today kicked off the activity that will involve training of pupils/students from selected schools in Makindye Ssabagabo and Entebbe municipalities.
This training is under the theme: Harnessing the collective responsibility of education institutions in promoting a plastic waste free environment through creativity and innovation.
This activity targets 50 education institutions in a period of one year with an average total coverage of 2500 directly trained students (50 per selected school).
The activity that has started with training of pupils from Sseguku primary school aims at increasing pupils’ motivation to pioneer the campaign on promoting a plastic waste free environment for sustainability.

CEPCOM’s Learn by doing mode of training has increased students’ motivation to adopt circular economy priorities to domestic solid waste waste management.
Children are always eager to learn. If empowered they are super agents of change. Let’s create platforms to involve children in efforts to address climate change.
Join us for this cause.
